According to Milan News Network, Estupinian remains in the Ecuador national team and attempts to make a comeback in a friendly match against Mexico.
Estupinian was forced to leave the game early due to an ankle injury in the previous game against the United States. He tried to return to the field after receiving treatment, but was eventually replaced at the end of the first half.
Although the initial situation was worrying, news from the United States showed that Estupinian's injury was not serious. He remains in the Ecuador national team's training camp and hopes to recover in time to participate in Wednesday's friendly against Mexico.
If Estupinian cannot recover 100% after this national team match, Milan may use Bart Sacchi again in the game against Fiorentina.
