Kroos: You don’t have to worry about Vinicius, you don’t know what it’s like to play in front of 80,000 people

In response to Vinicius's violent reaction when he was substituted in the national derby, Real Madrid star Kroos expressed his views in a personal podcast.

Kros said: "He can control his anger a little bit, and I understand his anger, but as you can see from the footage, he didn't express his anger in an ideal way.

"That said, I want to point out that when you play a good game like that, being substituted can be really emotionally draining. No one really understands what the players feel except those who stand in front of 80,000 spectators for El Clasico.

"With a score of 2-1, you performed extremely well, gave it your all and failed to do so. The emotions of those involved were unimaginable to those who ultimately judged.

"I've been through this many times, so you don't always have to take everything so seriously. Coaches don’t usually do that either, especially those who have been players.

"I am very happy that Real Madrid won. It was a well-deserved victory. They made full use of the offensive opportunities left by Barcelona. The score could have been even more disparate in the first half. Real Madrid won this game with extremely high intelligence and lineup strength."
