Mendilivar said: "The result is because they are a very good team, a better team. Our game is respectable, we fight and show that we can face them head-on. We are excellent, although I believe we can be even better and make teams of this level more difficult."
Mendilivar pointed out that their efforts against Arsenal show that they will not shy away from future challenges and that Olympiacos' goal is still to advance to the knockout stage.
"I believe that since we show that we can face our opponents, we must have other strong opponents to face, and there are many games in front of us to show what we can do."
For the next round of Champions League challenge to Barcelona, Olympiacos goalkeeper Zorakis said: "We have to do something big to go to Barcelona. We know the quality of Barcelona, but we will fight for the best possible outcome."
