The Daily Mail reported that Manchester City is considering selling McCarty and is interested in Real Madrid winger Rodrigo.
It is reported that in addition to allowing Gallish to join Everton and Tottenham is interested in acquiring Savignho, Manchester City is also weighing the possibility of selling McCarty at this stage, which will make room for Guardiola's team to find a replacement for the attacking line. Rodrigo, 24, is one of the options.
Arsenal and Liverpool had previously been interested in Rodrigo. The Real Madrid winger was hardly reused by new coach Xavi Alonso during the Club World Cup, and he may leave the Bernabeu this summer.
Meanwhile, Nottingham Forest is still negotiating with Manchester City to introduce midfielder McCarthy, who has raised the offer to about £27m (including additional terms), but the offer has not been accepted yet. However, Forest has basically reached an agreement with McCarthy on personal terms.
