A few days ago, Bayern legend Schweinsteiger predicted the 2025/26 season in an ins video. He sat on the sofa easily and introduced the favorites of winning the championship in major leagues. Although he believes Bayern can win the Bundesliga championship, he is more optimistic about Liverpool in the European level.
Schweinsteiger lists multiple reasons for choosing. The Reds won the Premier League title last season and had a good start to win 4-2 against Bournemouth in the first round of the new season. In addition, there are also major new players such as Werz, who joined Leverkusen for a transfer fee of 150 million euros, as well as Ekitic.
Schweinsteiger commented: "Liverpool is currently the team with the most complete lineup in my opinion."
Schweinsteiger's assessment of Bayern is not very optimistic. After Thomas Mueller, Sane, Koeman left the team and Tere was bought out, the team's lineup was too weak. Despite signing Louis Dias from Liverpool, Bayern generally failed to complete key reinforcements this summer, and international competitors have significantly strengthened their lineup.
However, in the Bundesliga, Schweinsteiger still regards Bayern as a favorite to win the championship. Despite many transfer problems, Schweinsteiger still believes that Bayern can win the next Bundesliga title.
In addition to predicting that Liverpool won the Champions League and Bayern won the Bundesliga, Schweinsteiger also clarified other event predictions: Premier League champion: Liverpool; UEFA Cup champion: Aston Villa; Golden Ball winner: Dembele (Paris).
