Recently, famous reporter Zach Lowe participated in the podcast program of famous talker Bill Simmons, and talked about Murray of the Nuggets.
"The Nuggets need Jamal Murray to regain his killer instinct in the playoffs. Last season, the Nuggets were able to drag the series against the Thunder into Game 7 when Michael Porter Jr. was injured. Don't forget that Porter Jr. played with one hand (shoulder injury), so the team's strength is actually pretty good. Westbrook also performed at some critical moments in that round of the series, but he was abandoned later. So for Denver, the biggest question is whether Jamal Murray can return to his best form, so that he can go further," Lowe said.
Last season's playoffs, Murray played 14 games, averaging 41.3 minutes per game, contributing 21.8 points, 4.9 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals, with shooting percentages in the three events being 44.4%, 35.4%, and 87.5% respectively. The Nuggets finally lost to the Thunder in seven games in the Western Conference semi-finals.
