In the late 1990s, Kobe tried to enter the music field. He signed a contract with Sony Music, recorded a rap album called "Visions", and worked with many big names such as 50 Cent, Nas, and Real Destiny.
However, the lead single with Terra Banks received poor response, and the album was eventually not officially released, and the entire album was hidden by Sony. The album has not been released for a long time until 2021, on the eve of Kobe's induction into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, the audio source of "Visions" was leaked online.
Recently, a well-preserved "Visions" album was launched in auction with a soundtrack. The tape is well packaged and is regarded as a rare historical record in Kobe's early career, showing his other side outside of basketball.
