Regarding Jokic's current refusal to sign a contract extension, a Nuggets executive said: "No need to worry at all. To be honest, it's a wise move from his perspective. He can lock in an additional year of contract next year, and when you're in his position, it's the right thing to do. The same offer, plus the extra year, will be in front of him in a year. He understands this, and we all have the same idea."
