Nike is about to re-release one of the most iconic football boots in history: the Nike Mercurial Vapor 3 in a classic yellow/black/green color scheme that perfectly matches the colors of the Brazilian national team jersey. This classic sneaker was worn by Ronaldo in the 2006 World Cup in Germany. The replica version is expected to be released in limited quantities in mid-November 2025.

This replica version of the boots combines a classic upper with a modern sole. The upper is expected to faithfully restore the original model in 2006, using its iconic design and materials. However, the sole will be replaced with the lightweight performance sole of the Nike Mercurial Vapor 16. This approach is the same as Nike’s other recent successful reissues, such as the Mercurial Vapor 1 version, which combines beloved aesthetics of the past with the performance standards of today’s game.
