Bayern was eliminated by Paris 0-2 in the quarterfinals of the Club World Cup. Musiara was seriously injured and Muller completed his farewell match in Bayern's career.
Director Eber was interviewed after the game and was asked "whether to sign a short contract with Musiara after his injury", he said: "This is not our consideration, nor has there been any related dialogue."
