According to the All Market Network, former Juventus coach Pirlo will soon serve as the head coach of the UAE sub-league team Dubai United.
After being dismissed from Sampdoria in August 2024, Pirlo is about to return to coaching. The 46-year-old coach is very close to returning and will coach UAE team Dubai United.
The deal has actually been finalized. Dubai United is currently planning to create an ambitious project with "midfield commander" Pirlo as head coach. It's only the official announcement at this time, but Pirlo has confirmed to be the team's head coach.
This means that Pirlo will end his previous coaching experience at Juventus and Sampdoria and start a brand new overseas adventure. At the same time, the Serie A newcomer Pizza, who was previously interested in him, will no longer be an option.
Dubai United ranked fourth in 26 matches in the UAE sub-league this season.
