Paul Antonioli's wife announced the news of her husband's death due to illness on social media. He has played in Serie B 30 times.
Frosinone officially released the eulogy, writing: "Paul was there, standing in the middle of the defense line, protecting the team with his sincerity, professionalism, fighting spirit and love for the jersey.
