Elected African Footballer of the Year! Ashraf Social Media: I hope children will believe in their dreams and fight for them

Ashraf was elected as the African Footballer of the Year in 2025. He posted photos of receiving the award on social media and gave an acceptance speech.

Achraf wrote: "This recognition is the crowning of my years of hard work, successful experiences and unforgettable moments. I sincerely thank my family, teammates and all the people who have fought alongside me - both on and off the court. Your trust, dedication and support have made me stronger and helped me continue to grow.

Thanks to all Moroccan people for their consistent support. May the glory at this moment inspire every child in the motherland and the entire African continent to believe in their dreams and fight for it."
