Every body: Juan Garcia is about to return and is expected to return after the international match in November

According to Daily Sports News, Barcelona goalkeeper Garcia’s return date from injury has been determined. Garcia is getting closer to receiving medical clearance and is expected to return soon.

On September 27, Garcia underwent surgery for a torn medial meniscus in his left knee. At that time, Barcelona estimated that his recovery period would be between 4-6 weeks, depending on the progress of his recovery.

Due to injuries to Garcia and Ter Stegen, who had previously missed the game due to back pain, Szczesny is currently serving as Barcelona's starting goalkeeper. However, once Garcia receives medical clearance, he is expected to regain his starting position.

Although this Saturday (November 8) will be the day when Garcia will be out for six weeks, head coach Flick does not want to take the risk of allowing the goalkeeper to return prematurely. At the press conference after the victory over Elche, Flick said: "We hope that Garcia can return in the first game after the national team match day. His recovery is very good and his performance is also very good."

Therefore, although Garcia has begun individual training at the Barcelona training base, he will definitely not appear in the Champions League game against Brugge on Wednesday and the La Liga game against Celta Vigo on the weekend.

After this month’s international match day, Barcelona will play again on November 22 (Saturday), against Athletic Bilbao.
