Recently, Slovenian center Omici talked about the European Championships in an interview with local media Sport Klub.

This summer, in the quarter-finals of the European Championship, Slovenia lost to the German men's basketball team 91-99 and was eliminated. Omic said: "I insist that we were five people playing eight people at that time. We shouldn't have lost that game. It was a game that decided whether we could enter the medal competition.
