According to European media reports, former NBA second-place pick Jabbarri Parker is about to leave Barcelona and join Belgrade Guerrilla. He will sign a two-year, $5 million fat deal.
This contract will make Parker one of the highest-paid players in European basketball. In the 2024-25 season, only 8 players in European basketball have a salary of 2.5 million+, namely Vezinkov (3.7 million), Larkin (3.6 million), Tavarez (3.0 million), Mike James (2.9 million), Costa Slokas (2.6 million), Kevin Ponte (2.5 million), Nunn (2.5 million), and Mirotic (2.5 million).
Parker was the second pick in 2014. He played for the Bucks, Bulls, Wizards, Hawks, Kings and Celtics in the NBA. He played in a total of 310 regular season games, averaging 14.1 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2 assists per game. In the summer of 23, he joined the European club Barcelona Men's Basketball Team and has played for it so far.
