According to Le Marca, Rodrigo told Real Madrid that he wanted to stay, but he needed to prove himself.
With Xavi Alonso taking over as the team's head coach, Real Madrid is about to open a new chapter. Club executives have been paying close attention to Rodrigo's situation and asked about his plans for the future. Despite many rumors outside, the player's answer is very clear and he hopes to stay in Real Madrid. This idea has also been recently conveyed to Real Madrid chairman Florentino and CEO Jose Angel Sanchez.
In Valdebebas, Rodrigo's potential is well known, but he has declined significantly since February and is therefore worried about him. The technical team and management have always supported the player and asked him to quickly adjust his form and reintegrate into the team. Xavi Alonso also said at a press conference that he had high hopes for Rodrigo, just like other players. So over the next 45 days, he needs to prove himself and get back his best to ensure his position at Real Madrid.
Although there is a lot of discussion about Rodrigo's future, there are no official offers so far. At present, Rodrigo has not shown any idea of leaving, but instead he wants to gain a foothold in the team.
