According to the "Milan Sports" report, Allegri called Leo and confirmed his new leader + core position.
Allegri's goal is to regain balance and stability for Milan, and Leo has played for Milan since 2019 and is the oldest player in the team, just like Gabiya.
Allegri expects Leo to be more mature off the court and become the technical leader of the new Milan, and regard him as the core of the offensive in the 4-3-3 formation. Both points were confirmed during a telephone call between Allegri and Leo.
Allegri hopes to get Leo involved from the beginning, asking him to maintain higher stability in the new season and reduce the frequent ups and downs of the state in the past few seasons.
Milan also decided to support Allegri and lock in Leo's future. Bayern and several Saudi teams have expressed interest in Leo, but Milan estimated him to be at least 100 million euros, which makes no club dare to take action easily.
