According to well-known reporter Romano, Naples tried to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, but the deal was not feasible.
Romano revealed that Napoli will introduce new goalkeepers this summer, which is a key requirement for coach Conte. Naples had tried to sign Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson, and negotiated last week, but eventually gave up because the deal was not feasible.
Ederson's contract with Manchester City expired in 2026, making 40 appearances last season and conceded 54 goals.
