According to Tuttosport, Juventus defender Bremer has successfully undergone meniscus surgery on his left knee and is expected to be sidelined for about six weeks.

Bremer's surgery was performed in Lyon and he will miss seven games against Como, Real Madrid, Lazio, Udinese, Cremonese, Sporting CP and Torino. He aims to return after the international break in November, possibly against Fiorentina, Bodega or Cagliari.

Bremer's absence will force head coach Tudor to adjust the defense, but he will continue to stick to a three-back system and will not switch to a four-back system. The specific adjustment plan may be that Kalulu retreats to the right center back position among the three defenders, while McKennie moves forward to the right back. The candidate to replace Bremer in the center will be between Gatti and Rugani.

Reports pointed out that Gatti is currently leading the competition given that he has more playing time this season. However, since the team will face Real Madrid in the Champions League three days later, Tudor may also consider rotation to manage player fitness.
