European Super Cup Tottenham missed the championship, and Tottenham head coach Thomas Frank was interviewed by TNT Sports.
He said: "I think we did a great job against one of the best teams in the world, perhaps the strongest team at the moment. We had over 80 minutes of control before the opponent scored, but the momentum of the game changed. There was a lot to be happy about the team, the players, the clubs and the fans. The penalty shootout was like a coin tossing, and the outcome was unpredictable."
"We demonstrated our adaptability and pragmatism, and we needed to do this in the face of teams like Paris Saint-Germain. The defensive approach we wanted, whether it was high pressing or low defense, was excellent and almost perfect. At the same time, our set pieces were also very threatening."
