Italian goalkeeper Sportiello left Milan and returned to Atlanta this summer, and he held a press conference this Monday.

How do you feel when you return to Atlanta?

Like Atlanta when I left, I encountered a healthy and humble environment that I was happy to be back and meet these people who had worked with me. It was a huge challenge for me and I couldn't wait to start over.

How do you evaluate your experience in Milan?

It was two important years, and I learned about another environment, it was a club with a long history. But Milan has no European game in the new season, and they have strong players in the goalkeeper position, which does not help me get more opportunities for the game. I'm so happy to be back here, I didn't hesitate at all.

What do you think of Atlanta's new coach Yulic?

Yulic is the coach we all know, and he is a student of Gasperini. Of course, he is a different guy and a different coach and we are working on improving some small details, although it is not easy to continue to improve after 9 years of coaching the team. There is not much to change, but we are always working on improving.

What achievements do you lack in Atlanta? What is your goal?

I haven't won the trophy here yet. Atlanta has done it before, and I think that's what I lack and want to do here.
